OpenRoads Designer Fundamentals. This learning path includes training courses to help you use the OpenRoads Designer software.
OpenRoads Designer for Existing v8i SELECTseries 3 or 4 Users. This learning path assumes SS3 & SS4 users are already familiar with basic OpenRoads Technology concepts such as terrains, geometry, superelevation, templates and corridors. It is intended to refresh existing concepts and teach new features and workflows.
OpenRoads Designer - Best Practices. This learning path contains video presentations on OpenRoads Designer Best Practices.
OpenRoads Designer - Terrain Modeling. This learning path contains hands-on courses and various Learn Conference, Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tech Talk videos related to Terrain Modeling.
OpenRoads Designer - Geometry. This learning path contains hands-on courses and various Learn Conference, Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tech Talk videos related to Geometry.
OpenRoads Designer - Corridor Modeling. This learning path contains hands-on courses and various Learn Conference, Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tech Talk videos related to Corridor Modeling.
OpenRoads Designer - Model Detailing. This learning path contains hands-on courses and various Learn Conference, Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tech Talk videos related to Model Detailing.
OpenRoads Designer - Drawing Production. This learning path contains hands-on courses and various Learn Conference, Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tech Talk videos related to Drawing Production.
OpenRoads Designer - Subsurface Utilities (Drainage & Utilities). This path includes tcourses to help you use the OpenRoads Designer Subsurface Utilities tools. "Navigating the Interface" and "Terrain Display" are good introductions to the OpenRoads Designer platform. To attain competence in Drainage Design, take the courses sequentially from "QuickStart - Evaluating Subsurface Utilities" to "Managing Multiple Scenarios." SWMM Analysis is learned in an additional 30-minutes. The latter classes do not require the "design sequence" as prerequisites.
OpenRoads Designer - UK Storm Drainage. This learning path introduces the tools needed for Storm Drainage hydraulics in accordance with UK practice. The classes start by showing you how to create, update, and add your own attributes to a Building Information Model, using imported MicroDrainage data. They then walk you through UK hydraulics - from a simple capacity analysis using the UK Modified Rational Method, to simulations using the UK summer and winter storm profiles, and critical storm analysis. Combine the knowledge gained from this learning path with the generic “laying out…” and “evaluating…” QuickStart classes and you’ll be able to design and analyze storm drainage for UK schemes, from scratch.
OpenRoads Designer - Survey. This learning path contains hands-on courses and various Learn Conference, Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tech Talk videos related to Survey.
OpenRoads Designer - Review and Evaluation Courses. This learning path will introduce you to the basic skills to become comfortable in the OpenRoads Designer environment. It is intended for new users and those users that just need to navigate, review and evaluate civil project data in OpenRoads Designer. You will learn how to review, display, evaluate and analyze civil data, including horizontal and vertical geometry and terrains.
OpenRoads Designer Workspace Setup. These videos will guide you through setting up an OpenRoads Designer Workspace including migrating data from existing V8i workspaces.
