Question 1: What license is required to run OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition?
Answer 1: A license for the product "OpenRoads Designer" (Product ID 2515) is required.
Question 2: What other products can I run using an OpenRoads Designer license?
Answer 2:
• InRoads Suite
• MXROAD Suite
Question 3: Is a separate license required to run the SUE/SUDA tools, the gINT Civil Tools, or the Reality Modeling tools that are included in OpenRoads Designer?
Answer 3: No, all the tools delivered with OpenRoads Designer are included in the OpenRoads Designer license. This includes the SUE/SUDA tools (up to 100 nodes), the gINT Civil Tools, and the Reality Modeling tools.
Question 4: Does having a license of OpenRoads Designer allow me to use a license of MicroStation for free?
Answer 4: No. OpenRoads Designer is built on the MicroStation platform, and allows the use of MicroStation functionality within ORD. However, this does not mean that a user has a separate/additional MicroStation license. A user can open ORD and use the MicroStation commands within ORD. Starting a pure MicroStation session will require a standalone MicroStation license.
Question 5: Are we able to install and run the stand-alone version of OpenSite Designer without being charged extra?
Answer 5: No, OpenSite Designer stand-alone is not included in an OpenRoads Designer license. See OpenSite FAQ.
