- Element Templates - Feature Symbologies - Feature Definitions
to OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition.
The utility can be downloaded from the following link
3386.civil_ddb_utility.zip
Important Information: 1. Make sure the GEOPAK SS2 or SS4 workspace environment you will be exporting the *.DDB to *.MDB file from has access to all of the following: - Custom Linestyles - Levels - Cells
2. Export the DDB to an *.MDB file
3. Run the executable provided selcting the *.MDB file
4. Select Export to XML to generate the 3 xml files.
5. Make sure this admin config variable is set in your workspace:
_CIVIL_STANDARDS_IMPORTEXPORT = 1
6. Import the Element Templates, then Feature Symbologies, and lastly the Feature Definitions to a new DGNLib.
7. This should only be used with ORD 2018 Release 4 (10.06.00.038) or higher. KNOWN LIMITATIONS: - This will NOT "Update" Elememt Templates or Feature symbologies, or Feature Definitions. If one with the same name already exist, the new imported entry will be given a suffix of the number 1. Thus, it is best practice to either delete the entries before import, or import to a new dgnlib file.
