This video demonstrates the ability to upgrade DGN files containing SS4/SS10 objects ("obsolete civil data") through the Version Checker utility available in OpenRoads Designer 10.08.00.88. When opening an older DGN file, you may receive a message regarding 'Obsolete Civil Data Found in File' and you are prompted if you want to open the file Read-only. You do not have the ability to upgrade this file simply by opening it. You have the ability to upgrade the schema of files for use with your current version of OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition through the Version Checker utility.

Please note, this upgrade is necessary to update files for use in ORD. It does use the Command Prompt and is suggested to only be used by administrators for upgrading data because once the files are upgraded to ORD, you cannot take the file back to the prior version.
