Question:

I've created a model using StormCAD CONNECT Edition version 10.02.00.55. Why do I get the error message "The model you are trying to open was saved in a newer version and cannot be opened in this version” when I go to the subsurface utilities workflow then Model Import/Export>Import Utilities>Import Haestad Submodel to import my .SQLite file?

Answer:

That message indicates that the version of the OpenFlows technology used in ORD version is older than the version that the StormCAD model was saved in. If you’re creating a new model, version 10.01.01.04 would be required for ORD update 6 compatibility. The next ORD release, update 7, is scheduled for March and will be compatible with StormCAD Connect Edition (10.02.00.55).

See this article on Forward/backward compatibility.

For immediate assistance prior to ORD update 7 release, users should contact support for a patch to resolve the issue.
