Question:

I went to edit my Sheet Index report from the dgnws and I received the message "Local resource, differs from library ….. .dgnlib" What does this mean and what do I need to do?

Answer:

You will receive this message when a Sheet Seed dgnlib is associated to a workspace and has thus had a report library created in the dgnlib. Sheet Seed dgnlibs should not be associated to a workspace. If you receive this message...

1. Open the dgnlib that is called out in the message.
2. Delete all Reports found in the dgnlib.
3. Open the Key-In (Home > Primary > Key-In)
4. Type file disassociateworkset and hit Enter.
5. Close out of the product. Be sure NOT to do a Save Settings as this will rewrite the workspace to the dgnlib
6. Open a new dgn in the workspace and open the report dialog and you should not receive this message anymore and the Sheet Index report should be pointing to the dgnws:
