    The Bentley Civil User Accreditation Program is an official credential from Bentley Systems, Inc. that verifies you have the essential software skills to be a productive asset to your employer.
    By attending the accreditation course and completing a hands-on design project, you will have demonstrated the skills to stand out from the competition and advance your career to the next level.
    After you have successfully acquired the accreditation, you will receive an official Bentley certificate.

    Benefits of the Program

    • Users become more productive by learning Bentley recommended best practices and workflows.
    • Users and Future Professionals can add the accreditation credential to their resume to showcase their expertise for AEC projects.
    • Companies can advertise that their employees possess the professional skills necessary for project bids and be competitive in the AEC industry.

    Program Requirements

    • Users should have a minimum of 60 hours of professional design experience utilizing OpenSite Designer, OpenRoads Designer and/or OpenRail Designer.
    • Users must submit a signed accreditation program agreement.
    • Users take the recommended courses, as needed.
    • Users must take one session of the required accreditation course.
    • Users must submit their completed project within 4 weeks of attending the accreditation course.
    • The project submission is reviewed by a Bentley instructor. When approved, the user accreditation certificate is awarded.
    • If the project submittal does not meet completion requirements, the user can correct and resubmit their project within 2 weeks. Reattempts may be permitted at the discretion of the instructor and will require additional training.

    Basic Road Design Modeling – User Accreditation Offering

    The Basic Road Design Modeling user accreditation offering focuses on the basic skills required for working on a road design project using OpenRoads Designer or OpenRail Designer.
    Users will need to complete tasks within a provided road design project to demonstrate their skills and abilities with geometry, superelevation, corridors, earthwork quantities, and drawing sheets.
    The skills needed to complete the project tasks include:

    • Creating a File • Create Template Drops
    • File Federation • Assign Superelevation
    • Attaching Reference Files • Point Controls and Parametric Constraints
    • Creating Horizontal and Vertical Geometry • Corridor References and Corridor Clipping
    • Creating Offset and Taper Geometry • Creating Earthwork Quantities
    • Creating Superelevation • Creating Plan & Profile Sheets
    • Creating a Corridor • Creating Cross Section Sheets

    Users will register for one session of the required accreditation course to receive instructions on the accreditation project task.
          Bentley Civil User Accreditation – Basic Road Design Modeling with OpenRoads/OpenRail Designer CONNECT Edition
           ➢ You only need to register for ONE accreditation session.
           ➢ There is NO technical training delivered during the accreditation session.
           ➢ You MUST have OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition version 2019 Release 2 – Refresh (10.07.03.18) or later installed on your computer in order to complete the accreditation project tasks.
