Question:

 I have displayed (2) profile models and would like to display all the vertical alignments from one profile to the other. Is there a way to do this in Open Roads/Site/Rail Designer?

Answer:

This process can be accomplished by opening the plan and profile model of the element you'd like to project to as well as the profile model that contains the intended projected geometry.

After the models are displayed, activate the Project Profile to Element tool (found under OpenRoads Modeling>Geometry>Vertical>Profile Creation).

After defining the Feature Definition and name from the dialogue box, select the vertical geometry that you would like to project first. In the example below we are projecting the elements from the profile model on the right.

Next, select the plan element associated with the profile we would like the graphics projected to.
