Question:
How do I completely remove/uninstall OpenRoads Designer from a machine so I can perform a clean reinstallation?
Answer:
2. After the program is uninstalled you can then delete the following folders to clear the files and folders which remain on the machine after the uninstall.
You may also want to delete the following folder (C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer CE) if you do not have any custom workspace setup located within the folder. But only if you have not made changes since install or added other configurations inside this folder. Otherwise, rename the folder (i.e. OLD_OpenRoads Designer CE) to maintain the information but the delivered information can be reconfigured when reinstalled.
3. It may also be required to clean the registry keys as well to remove any leftover registry items. Note: Be careful to follow these steps carefully and do not delete anything else from the registry.
Open the Registry Editor by searching for the 'Registry Editor' App.
