How do I weld an arrow and line together in OpenRoads SignCAD?
Answer:
Here are instructions for welding objects together in the Graphic View and Edit in OpenRoads SignCAD:
Step 1: Right click on your graphic and pick Edit Data from the floating menu.
Step 2: In the Graphic dialog box, press the View and Edit button.
Step 3: In the Graphic View and Edit, pick Tool>Line. Create the line.
Step 4: Place the line over the arrow in the desired location and use the Select tool to select both the arrow and the line.
Step 5: Pick Manage>Unjoin and press OK to the Unjoin Results
Step 6: Pick Manage>Join>Close and press OK to the Close Results
Step 7: Pick Manage>Combine Boundaries (Weld)>Retain All to weld the arrow and line together.
Step 8: Right click on the welded graphic and pick Fill Color>Black.
Step 9: Pick File>Close and Yes to save changes. Press OK to the Graphic dialog box.
