Enabling the fill color display on signs

    Question:

How do I enable the fill color display on signs in OpenRoads SignCAD?

    Answer:

Preferences are saved with each OpenRoads SignCAD SGN file. If the Outline mode (black and white) setting is checked under the Preferences menu in the SGN file, then signs will display without fill color since that setting is saved with the file. Unchecking the Outline mode (black and white) box will enable fill color display and saving the file will update the file setting.

    1. In OpenRoads SignCAD, pick Preferences>Drawing.

    2. In the Drawing dialog, uncheck the Outline mode (black and white) box and press OK.

    3. The sign(s) in the file should now display with fill color.

    4. Save the file (File>Save).
