How do I mirror an object or graphic in OpenRoads SignCAD?
Answer:
Below are the instructions for mirroring an object. This same process can be used for mirroring a graphic in the Graphic View and Edit (see video below).
1) In OpenRoads SignCAD, right click on the object and pick Edit Data from the floating menu.
2) In the Object dialog box, press the View and Edit button.
3) In the Object View and Edit window, select the object to be mirrored (ex: arrow) and pick Manage>Mirror>Vertical Centerline.
4) Right click on the object (ex: arrow) and pick Object spacing from the floating menu.
5) In the Object Spacing dialog box, flip the Left and Right object spacing. Set the Left = 0, Right = 6.188 and press OK.
6) Right click on the diamond sign and pick Edit Data from the floating menu. In the Standard Sign Panel dialog box, change the Identifier to W1-1L_48x48 and press OK.
7) Pick File>Close and "Yes" to save changes.
8) In the Object dialog box, change the Description to W1-1L_48x48 and press OK.
9) Save the file (File>Save or File>Save As).
