Question:
After building a deployment image, I can see all the individual installation MSI files for ORD and its components. Is it possible to install ORD using these individual MSI files, and if so, in what order do in install them?
Answer:
In order to install OpenRoads Designer properly, you will need to run the installation EXE file (i.e. "Setup_OpenRoadsDesigner_x64_10.xx.xx.xx.exe"). This is can be either the EXE from the Software Fulfillment site which will download and install the full payload over the internet, or the EXE created by the deployment image layout process where the payload has already been downloaded.
The EXE file instructs the installer about several things including install locations and install order that can not be done manually with the individual MSI files.
