PROBLEM: When trying to access OpenSite SITEOPS, users generally have an available application through their Windows 'Start' Menu. In some cases, users search or try to locate the OpenSite SiteOps application but it does not appear to be installed or available even if they included it when installing OpenSite Designer as a companion application.
SOLUTION: Open your Windows Explorer and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenSite SITEOPS. There should be an OpenSite SITEOPS.exe. Run this executable to launch the application. If that is successful, users can create a new shortcut from that EXE for easier access.
If you do not have the C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenSite SITEOPS folder, the SiteOps Application may not have be installed when installing OpenSite Designer. Try to 'repair' the OpenSite Designer program through the Apps & features on the machine to add SITEOPS as a companion application. In the installation wizard, there is a step to 'Configure' the install where you can select the SITEOPS program as a companion application.
