Signs brought over into OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation do not print correctly - white displays black in the print preview

Problem

Signs brought over into OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation using the SignCAD MDL display correctly in the DGN file but the white displays black in the print preview.

Solution

In OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation, pick File>Print. In the Print dialog box, pick File>Edit Printer Driver Configuration.
In the Printer Driver Configuration, pick the Color Maps tab and check the “Define maps from design color to print symbology” box. Select 0 and press the Edit button. In the Edit Color Map(s) dialog box, check the “Define print color” box. Click on the print color black. Pick White from the color table and press OK to both the Color and Edit Color Map(s) dialog boxes.
In the Printer Driver Configuration dialog box, pick File>Save and then File>Exit.
In the Print dialog, pick File>Reload Printer Driver Configuration.

Solution

In OpenRoads Designer or MicroStation, pick File>Print. In the Print dialog box, pick File>Edit Printer Driver Configuration.
