This video will demonstrate what is required for draping Raster Images such as TIF files onto a Terrain Model in OpenRoads Designer. The following settings are required for the display to work correctly:
1. The Terrain Model must be displayed with an Element Template displaying Triangles.
2. The assigned Element Template must have the material assigned to the Triangle display. Element Template Manager - Calculated Feature Display - Triangles - Material needs to be set to use the 'dcdrape' material.
3. The attached raster images must have the 'draping' option turned on for the display properties of the raster image.
4. The View Attributes - Display Style must be changed from the wireframe display (i.e. Smooth, Smooth with Shadows, Illustration, etc.)
Once all these criteria are met, the images should be draped onto the Terrain Model triangulated mesh.
