Each Feature Definition definition has a specific "Template Drop Interval Multiplier", which makes the value of the template drop multiplied by just that value.

In the example described in "Question", the corridor had a "Design" feature definition assigned, so instead of each 10 meters, a cross section was displayed every 20 meters (10m x 2,000). This value can be changed.
