How to delete ghost invisible drainage and utility elements in a dgn or flex table

Product(s):OpenSite, OpenRoads, OpenRail Designer Connect Edition
Version(s):10.11+
Area: Drainage and Utilities

Problem:

Sometimes in support we encounter issues where a dgn file will contain drainage elements in a flex table that are not visible in the model and not seen in Explorer>Drainage and Utilities Model. How can it be deleted?

Solution:

Try running the Model Integrity Check command. To access it go to Drainage and Utilities>Tools Project Tools>Project>Model Integrity.

Select the elements you want delete and hit the button.

The Model Integrity Check tool compares the Links, Nodes, and Catchment Areas in the graphics to the Drainage and Utilities database. It displays a list of elements that are not synchronized between graphics and the database and allows you to delete them. This option should be used with caution because it deletes the data. A good practice is to take a screen capture of the elements before you delete them so that you can review the resulting model and recreate any elements that are needed.
