Import ESRI grid file

Question:

Can you import an ESRI file (ARC/INFO GRID, ARC/INFO ASCII GRID) into InRoads?

Answer:

Esri grid files cannot be directly imported into InRoads. These type files will need to be translated to an ASCII file with x,y,z coordinates first. This translated file can then be imported into InRoads using the Text Import Wizard. There are a number of third-party software programs available that will accomplish this task.
