Why am I inable to select any planimetrics in the graphics file?

Answer:

Most likely the graphics are only "dynamic graphics". Dynamic graphics refers to the ability of InRoads Survey to display and update temporary graphics – graphics that are not stored in the CAD file.  To write the graphics to the design file, run the command Survey>View Survey Data>Write Survey Data to Graphics.
