Where do you define text symbology for the commands located under Survey>View Survey Data?

Answer:

The symbology for the temporary dynamic graphics that are displayed using the commands under Survey>View Survey Data are controlled by a combination of the "Edit View" button and the Survey Symbology portion of the Symbology tab under Tools > Survey Options.  To edit the symbology for the temporary dynamic graphics, go to Tools>Survey Options and click on the Symbology tab.  Highlight the object you wish to edit.  Click "Edit View".  Specify text symbology on the View Text Symbology dialog box and select "OK".
