The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

Explanation:

This message was issued on a machine with GEOPAK SS2 and GEOPAK SS3 installed, after "GEOPAKCOM.EXE" was run to allow the SS2 VBA commands to run. When the user left SS2 and ran the "GEOPAKCOM.EXE" before starting SS3, they go this error message when trying to import a GPK using the General Geometry>Import Geometry command.

Workaround:

If you see this message after selecting the GPK file to import, you can close MicroStation and delete the Microstation preferences at the following path:

C:\Users\[user.name]\AppData\Local\Bentley\GEOPAK\8.11\

By deleting the folder in this location (often a very long GUID character string), the MicroStation preferences are deleted and will be re-created the next time the product is opened.
