    Earthworks Strings not created correctly

    Problem Description

    The earthworks strings are not created correctly along part of the earthworks run. The highlighted line shows the issue.

    Reason

    The reason is due to the default Left and Right offset values being set in the project paramaters as 100. The earthworks being created are outside the 100 offset as shown on the screen shot.

    Steps to Resolve

    Option 1 - Increase the Offset values in the MX System Parameters panel

    Load the MX System Parameters panel via MX>Tools>System Parameters and increase the Left and Right offset values to the required value.

    Option 2 - Increase the Left and Right Offset values using Line model Option 017

    The left and right offset values can also be modified using field 7 and 10 of option 017 as shown below.

    017,7=-150.0,10=+150

    Using the options will ensure the correct earthworks are created as below.
