I have 2 users scheduled to take online SITEOPS training beginning Monday, 8/5. I've loaded the Java Update, and SITEOPS Launcher but they can't launch the software. Is it looking for a license?
SITEOPS should load to a login screen if it is unable to validate a user and find the correct licensing. If it never opens, then that is usually a Java issue…are you running the 64-bit? If you still have issues email us the siteops-loader.log and siteops.log files to support@siteops.com? Those files are in the following directory: C:\Users\<USER’S COMPUTER LOGIN>\AppData\Local\Temp\SITEOPS\
OK is there such a thing as a temporary username and license for training?
Yes, there are training licenses that can be setup if needed. If you want to send the users' email names and address to our support email, we will make sure they are setup prior to the training.
