The Move by Amount function allows the location (Northing, Easting, and/or Elevation values) of the site to be changed by specific values. Both positive and negative values can be used.

1. Select Move by Amount.

2. At the prompt, enter the desired Easting Change.  If you don't wish to change the Easting position, then type zero.

3. Press the Enter key.  

4. Enter the desired Northing Change. If you don't wish to change the Northing position, then type zero. 

5. Press the Enter key.  

6. Enter the desired Elevation Change. If you do not wish to change the elevation position, then type zero. If you know that a contour/point is supposed to have a specific elevation, for example 150, and the current elevation is -5, then you would enter 155 as the Elevation Change.

7. Press the Enter key. This will reposition the site to the desired location.
