URGENT!!!! REGARDING MEMBER RELEASE

In the actual structure, the connection is at the bottom flange, whereas in the model the release is on the centroid axis. Thus the two cases are not exactly identical, but the model very closely resembles to the actual condition with minimal error, and provides an acceptable solution so far as used for structural purpose.

However, in case you need an exact solution, you need to use the Finite Element modeling with plate elements with suitable boundary conditions.
