This Excel file contains a VBA macro that utilizes Ram DataAccess to merge, move, rotate, or mirror a Ram Structural System model.
BTW I tried this on other files and it worked fine
I am using the "macro buttons" to get the files but when I try to execute a rotation it is telling "Model B does not exist." Why?
I got permission denied message from VBA.
I updated the file version to be the same as the one installed but still not working. V17.04
OH, I found it. It just incorporates into the model A file.
Where is the new model saved? I can't find it.
Make sure the .rss file you are using is saved in the version of RAM Structural System that you currently have installed.

I just tried it using Ram SS V17.03. An error says the tool was written for RSS version 17 or later. ? Can you look into this?
Hi Seth, I'm having the same issue as below. When I try to mirror the file the output is only a few hundred KB. Was there a resolution to this?
Seth, I am attempting to mirror a model. The model I would like to mirror is the same version as the RAM SS I have installed. I go through the process, but after I execute it resulting file is only 174KB and the new model is blank. Would you have any insight on this? I will note I see a "run-time error '1004':" message from visual basic upon start-up.
The spreadsheet should work with whatever version of RAM SS is installed. Make sure the model file is also converted to that same format.
Have there been any updates to this file for version 15.04? I'm in need! Thanks Eric.
When I rotate the model, the file that is created is 1KB and RAM is unable to open it. RAM says that it can't unzip the file to the Working Directory. Is there a solution to this problem? I am using RAM 15.02.00 Thank you.
Updated to v15.02. Correction for snow load polygons.
JK figured it out...
It tells me the merge is successful, but how do I find where the file exists now?
This would be an extremely useful feature to have - however when I try to use it on a RAM version 14.07.01.01 file I am not able to open the resulting file. It successfully creates the .rss file, but the file size is only 1KB and when I try to open it I get an error that the file cannot be unzipped by RAM. Is it possible to get an updated version of this spreadsheet which works with RAM version 14.07?
Updated to v14.05. Added loads, foundations, and offsets.
