Is this happening every time you split, or only on certain types of features or geometries?
The only time I ever see that message is if I try to split at the end point of a line, or if I accidentally click the same point twice (so the second click is at the new end point).
Thanks.

RE: BUD - Unable to Split Feature

hi Ian,
Are you working with SQL spatial or Oracle.?
Because if you are working with those data you need to lock the view before make an editing process.
Thanks.

RE: BUD - Unable to Split Feature

Hi,

Thanks.

RE: BUD - Unable to Split Feature

Hi Ian,
If I'm not mistaken, to enable the split process, first you need to select the feature (pipe) then you click on the split tool.
You cannot split the pipe without tell BUD which pipe that involved.
Thanks.
