Rotation of Features – Cannot Change Angle of Rotation

Hello everyone, 
 I have a problem with the rotation of features. 
 I&rsquo;m testing Bentley Utilities Designer v8i SELECTseries 3 using the default data model and MS SQL Server Spatial. 
 As you see on the first screen, I placed 3 point-cell features (in this case Street Light Banks) in different angles which I posted in the BUDV8iSpatial database.

Everything is ok for now but when I open a new project and try to query the same 3 features, they are shown in the default angle (the second screen).

I checked in the DABABASE (the third screen) and the values of MS_ANGLE, MS_X_SCALE and MS_Y_SCALE are all NULL, i.e. the placement values of the angles of rotation are not posted.

Do you have any idea why the angles of rotation are not posted in the database?

Hi Nikolay, 
Unfortunately , this is a known issue with the SS3 version. During registration of the schema against SQL Server spatial, point features with sub-features can only be registered as point collections, which do not allow the setting of scale and angle. This has been corrected in the upcoming SS4 release.
