Hi All,
I have a Bentley Water GSA project with all the Oracle based features I want to maintain defined and working properly. But I want to add or include several other reference features which are also within the same Oracle schema, but I don't want the user to be able to maintain (read-only features).
When I open the Oracle connection once my GSA project is loaded, I don't see the tables that are not defined within the GSA project.
I am using Bentley Water 08.11.07.120 for this project.
Any Ideas??
Cheers Ian
Hi Ian,
Bentley’s Technical Service Group asked me to review your post.
Only feature’s registered under the “named” Oracle Connection in Geospatial Administrator (GSA) are recognized in the same ”named” Oracle Connection in its exported workspace (project). You will need to register the added features in Geospatial Administrator to your Oracle Connection, set accordingly for read only access, and export your schema.

Thanks Rodney,
I thought this may be the case, so I am investigating another approach of extracting the features to another DGN file and referencing the DGN file with the extracted XFM features.
