Hi All,
I am testing moving to Bentley Utilities Designer from Bentley Water. Currently I am changing my data model over to the new Model Administrator spread sheet, I notice that it uses a few Environment Variables. If I change these environment Variables will I break the Utilities Designer application, or are they purely used by the MS Excel Spread sheet?
Thanks,
Hi Ian,
There are three environment variables. UtilitiesDesignerROOTDATAMODELPATH is used to find the data model directory created by the install. If you want to run the Model Administrator spread sheet from a different location, you can safely change this environment variable.
You should only change UtilitiesDesignerWorkspacePath if you wish to change the default location of your workspaces.
UtilitiesDesignerProgramPath should not be changed.
Hope that helps,
Mike
Thanks Mike.
