Unique Balloon Number Range

Hi, all.

How do I insert unique balloon numbers that correspond to a specific BOM document?  I am trying to assign balloon number 1010 for the 115KV station but that balloon number is already taken by another BOM document in the 230KV station which has its own unique range.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

 Thank you!

  • There are Balloon Settings in the Project Options that control what should be considered a duplicate Balloon number.  So for example, some users want there to be only one balloon #1 for the entire project, while others like yourself might need to have different cases where the same balloon number can occur more than once per project.  So if you change the settings in the Project Options for the Balloon numbers, you should be able to have the same number for different stations.  Here is a part of the description from the built in Help files:

"Select whether the balloon numbering will be unique across the entire project, across each installation or across each location. There is also a selection installation+location which allows balloon numbers to be duplicated if either the installation or location is different."
