Hi Matt, It’s Promis.e V8i (SELECT SERIES 6). I am working on backup the old projects.

To clarify, does the error message occur when Project Manager opens or when you back up a project? Or at some other time, such as selecting certain projects?

You mentioned Project Manager only shows a few projects. Please use Windows Explorer to look at the folder containing the project folders. It should be sorted by name. Compare this to what you see in Project Manager. Is Project Manager showing the first few projects listed at the top in Windows Explorer and the rest are missing? Or are the projects that are visible in Project Manager mixed among the missing projects when looking with Windows Explorer? What I'm trying to determine is, is the error occurring for one project, and all projects listed after that project are missing, or is the error related to several projects and those projects are the ones missing.

The error message refers to Project Options, so replacing one or more ProjectOptions.xml files may be the answer. The key is determining which one(s). If you attempt this, make a backup copy of the ProjectOptions.xml files you replace. An easy way to do this is to rename it to ProjectOptions.OLD before copying in the good ProjectOptions.xml file.
