Tentative

We are having an issue with a file in Bentley Substation. When tentative snapping to an object it snaps to another object. It is only happening in this one file. Looking to see if there is anything that we can do to the file to fix. Snaps and AcuDraw have been checked. It happens with different users logged. Pulled the file out and used in Microstation. Still not tentative snapping correctly. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Eric! Please check to see if your grid lock is off. If the lock is on, tentative points may not seem to work as they should. Another thought ... if you are inserting a Cable/Bus object, the command is expecting compatible hook points. Depending on your tolerances in 3D Substation Layout settings, the "tentative" hook point snapping may snap " ... to another object ...", as you mention. Can you please send screen caps or maybe a short video?
