can we creat a new 3d component in bentley substation v8I select series 7 with its point connection tand integrate it in the libraryto use it and associat with an appropriate sybmbol
Yes, you can do this. You would use the Create Symbol tool to create or modify symbols, which would be stored in the catalog of your choosing. We recommend storing any symbols you create or modify in a custom catalog so your work is easily found and backed up. There are many considerations in the symbol creation process, so it is not a good topic to try to cover completely in the forum. There is a Bentley Substation for 3D Site Design Symbol Creation course in the Bentley Substation 3D Physical Site Designer Learning Path on the LEARNserver.
If you have specific questions about the symbol creation process, we can try to answer them here.
thanks à lot Sir
My previous question for the creation of 3d components is to arrive to create components of the GIS station
can we find the catalog for free GIS
I'm sorry Bouladjeraf, I do not understand the question.
If you are looking to convert 3D models from some other software into Bentley Substation symbols, this may be possible depending on the format of the models. I would try saving/exporting the models in DGN format, then use the method described in the Inserting Drawings article to attach the file as a cell while in Create Symbol.

No need to apologize. I'm not sure that video was meant for public consumption. In any case, someone should be contacting you directly about this question soon.
