Reports & Parts Database Manager

Good Day

We have been using Bentley Substation for a month now and after successfully completing the training with Bentley we are struggling to setup customized reports in Bentley. Is there a detailed user guide available for Custom Reports and the Parts Database Manager?

Currently, our Reports are generating blank screens and on some users pcs it correctly generated the report on the first try but thereafter keeps generating the same report over and over again.

Any guidance would be welcomed.

    Did you mean that you already completed the class titled:

    Promis.e Database and Report 

    Promis.e database is structured and give examples on how to obtain project data. This course will also cover how to create and modify reports to display project data obtained through the database. 
    Available from the Bentley Learn services?  It covers information about creating custom reports.  It does not teach Microsoft SQL, you will need to have someone experienced in that to create custom reports.  https://communities.bentley.com/products/electrical___instrumentation/w/electrical_and_instrumentation__wiki/25318/training-faqs
    A blank screen would tend to mean there is no data to display. You might check to make sure you are first selecting which project ID from the database that you want to query or that your query results in valid data,  You can try running your query in Microsoft SQL outside of Promis.e to verify that you get the results you are looking for.  For our typical reports you have to have one page of the current project open to get results so the software knows which project you want data for.
    I'm not sure i understand the part about it generating once then the same thing over and over.  Unless you change the data in the project it ought to be the same data over and over.  Perhaps you can better explain what you mean or share some samples of your report query so we can understand it better.
