Promise, V8i - Wirelink IDs lost when copying pages

When a page that contains wirelinks is coppied to another project, the link ID is lost. When the page is opened the links show up blank. You have to open each wirelink and enter a link ID and click OK.

I cannot reproduce this using promis.e V8i 08.11.05.91 RELEASE (2008.12.09.15.20) for MicroStation/PowerDraft. If I select Maintain Wire Link IDs on the Copy Page dialog, it maintains them. If that option is not enabled, it substitutes page-line number as the wire link ID. Anybody else?

Not here. As long as it is understood what the page copy option 'Maintain Wire Links:Complete/Tag' means this should be predictable. If neither option is used then new wire link IDs will be added.
