Error message alert pop-up when I am trying to back up in DWG format

Can't say about the error message or the process which is using the said file.
It needs investigation.Will update you accordingly.


Instead, for AutoCAD compatible drawing file creation, you can try exporting the project drawing to .dwg format which is AutoCAD compatible.


Go to File>>Export>>Select DGN,DWG,DXF option.

Select the location and you can also select the file format in which you wish to save the project drawing.

I have many drawings, is there a way I can do a mass export?

You can try using Batch Converter to concert multiple files to DWG.

Option 1 did exactly what I wanted to happen. I was able to convert multiple drawings at once with no problem at all.
