Migrate EED (Elementary Electrical Diagrams) files to Promis.e

Hi ,

Yes , it is possible to migrate DGN files made with EED to Promis.e.
For the same you need to import the file into Promis.e

Go To File >> Import.



Promis.e can read .DGN files.

Hi. Thank you for your quick reply. My concern is not about the file type (DGN is a standard for MicroStation) but the graphic/data structures used by EED such as ASID, Data Linkage, etc...

You can find an example of EED file attached.

I also upload a screenshot that shows you an EED element information (with User Data Linkage, Dependency Linkages, RIS Data Linkage).

All EED elements of a Bentley Elementary Electrical Diagrams design file have a unique ID called ASID.
We use EED functions like eedApi_getEEDDataEx to retrieve ASIDs.

I need to know if Promis.e can read EED element data like ASID, MSLINK, etc...

We have a custom Oracle database where we store components data. In database every component is identified by MSLINK.
