DeviceDB Error Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Question

When in a oneline drawing, I select &ldquo;INSERT SYMBOL&rdquo; (Electrical >2D Design > Components > Insert Symbol. 
 When I do that I get the following Error Messages: 
 DeviceDB Error Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 
 TargetSite: Boolean InitRepository() 
 Declaring Type: CCIntegration.CCSubstationRepository 
 Attributes: private 
 Member Type: Method 
 Stack Trace: C:\PRogramData\Bentley\OpenUtilities Substation CONNECT 
 Edition\Configuration\Datasets\Substation\Config\LastError.txt 
 
 I hit Ok and then I get another error message: 
 
 UI Error Message: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation 
 TargetSite: System.Object.InvokeMethod(System.Object[], System.Signature/Boolean) 
 
 Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Paul,

Are you facing the issue with all the symbols from different catalog or is it related to a particular Catalog ?

Can you try to do Rebuild Catalog and check if it helps ? you can refer the below Wiki Link for the steps.

Hi Paul, You can try renaming the Per User App data folder and check if it help ? You can refer the below Wiki Link for location of per user App Data Folder.
