I've created my own Tab within the Ribbon UI under Settings -> Customise Ribbon.
I'd like my newly created tab to be the default tab that loads each time the software is created instead of the 2D Design tab.
Is this possible to achieve?
Hi Adam,You need to open the Personal.Promise.dgnlib to modify the Ribbons and then save the details for them to be reflected in Promis.e when you launch. You can refer the below Wiki Link which will help with the issue where it explains how to add Custom Icon, in your case you can do to create custom Ribbon.

I've created the ribbon and can roll it out ok, however I would like my newly created tab to open by default. Currently it keeps opening 2D Design. I cannot find anywhere to set this to open as default?
Hi Adam,I think the software automatically selects the Ribbon according to the Page mode, if you open Schematic, Single Line it will go to 2D Design and for Panel and Wiring Diagram it will go to Panel Layout by default. Hope this helps!Regards,Satish Saptasagar
Sadly not as it doesnt allow me to default to a standard ribbon, however it does answer the question, thanks for your time Satish.
