We used gridsnap to align text and symbol elements in Microstation Promise V8i. I had a Grid Snap Toolbox for quick toggling between grids.
We currently transitioned to Promise Connect Microstation.
I have found all of my Toolboxes in File>Settings> Toolboxes, except for Grid Snap.
Haning to go to the ribbon and transition away from my 2D Design ribbon to View ribbon, in order to transition between grids is very clunky and inhibits workflow.
Is there a toolbox I am not seeing or could we get a gridsnap toolbox created?
You can add Grid Snap on every tab by using next method
After that you will find Grid Snap on 2D Design tab

IDK. I guess I just don't care for the ribbon. There was a grid toolbox in V8i and I made it a part of my work flow so it will take some getting used to. It is unusual that they would get rid of a toolbox. I'll try your way.

As a work around to having a toolbox for Grid Snap, I added three different instances of Grid snap to three different tab groups then pointed each one to the different grid sizes we use regularly. This gives me a one click toggle between Grids and generally accomplishes what I need.
A bit cumbersome to build but it works.
