Hello everyone,
I'm wondering if there's a place or an app where I can check all the databases I created for Substation?
For example, I was working with the database SubstationCE3 (figure below), it's my 3rd database. Is it possible for me to see the past databases?
Also, I'm having a problem with it. For no reason, when I'm opening Substation it is showing me the "Configure Database" screen. If I click ok, the message below is shown:
Which translated to English means:
"Configuration not saved: Network or instance-specific error connecting to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not reachable. Check that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections."
I can't open Substation because of this problem. I also tried to update this database (from "New Database" area) but it's showing a similar problem.
Thank you!
Hi Matheus,Can you check if the services are running for SQL, you can check the same by searching for Services in Start. Next in the Services Dialog search for SQL Services (BENTLEYECAD) and check if its Status is Running.

Thank you Satish! It solved my problem.
I just want to know, is it possible for me to see the different databases I created? For example, I created the "SubstationCE1" and "SubstationCE2". How could I access them and the informations related to it? Does Bentley have any Webinar/pages which talks specifically about the Substation Database use?
