Connect edition copy circuits.

Control C appears to copy without a basepoint. The paste is not on grid. Is there a setting I am missing?

  • Hi Lisa,

It is a known issue in Promis.e / OpenUtilities Substation CONNECT with BUG#609600. And it will be fixed in the next release of Promis.e CE Update 9 if you are using Promis.e OpenUtilities Substation CONNECT CE Update 11. You can visit the below Announcement Forum Link to check for Release Updates of the softwares.

As a Work Around you can follow the below steps and check if they help with the issue you are facing.

    1. Select the symbol that needs to be copied.

    2. Next point the mouse cursor to any connection point or part of the symbol such that this point will be the insertion point when placing the symbol.

    3. Next do Left Click and Right Click in the mouse at the same time and you will see a Cross Hair indicating the point that has been selected as reference for pasting, now do Ctrl + C to copy.

    4. Go to the page where you need to place the symbol and paste it and you can now use the point specified to snap to the grid as per your requirement.
