I need some help upgrading from Substation Select SS8 to Connect please.
I used to be able to setup a configuration that will only used selected catalogs depending on your selection per configuration.
Is this still possible in Connect Update 10. If so how.
I only want certain catalogs to be connected to certain projecs rather than having all the catalogs connected or displayed.
Hi Johan,In OpenUtilities Substation CONNECT currently, the Catalogs are handled under WorkSpace or WorkSet as compared to Setup configuration in V8i. In V8i you might have used different Setup configurations according to Projects, but in connect you can have the Main WorkSpace that will have all the standard Configurations. But if you need to have some configuration different for a project or projects you can specify the general Catalogs in WorkSpace level and then specify the Catalogs that will be used for specific Projects / Projects at the WorkSet level. By doing this you can have multiple WorkSet as per your requirement under the same WorkSpace, when creating a project you can select the WorkSet according to your requirement depending on which Catalogs need to be used with the Project by placing them in a folder and then specifying the path to the Catalog Folder in the WorkSet Catalog Path Configuration Variable.
Also, you can add multiple Catalogs from different folders by adding the path for the same under value separated by a ";"HTHRegards,Satish Saptasagar
