Hi,
as of yesterday I have updated promis.e to update 9 and have just found that when I try edit / add a part number to a symbol I get the following error:
I can however access the parts database with no issues, it appears to only occur when trying to search for a part number on a symbol.
If I ok the above error, I then get the following error:
This issue didn't occur when upgrading from promis.e v8i 08.11.12.120 to connect edition update 5. So not entirely sure what's happened in the update process to update 9.
Thanks in advance for any help / advice.
With best regards,
Reece
Hi Reece,Since you are facing this issue in Promis.e CONNECT Update 9, can you confirm that the Parts Database that you are using is stored in SQL or a *.MDB file? Can you try editing / creating a new Parts Database path can check if it helps with the issue you are facing? You can refer to the below Wiki Link if you are using a Parts Database stored in an MDB file.
Hi Satish,
The parts database is stored in SQL.
Our software admin had rebuilt the path to the database, and upon restarting Promis.e it everything all works as it should when trying to add / amend parts within a symbol.
Thanks for your time!
Hi Reece,
i have the exact same error.
What was the solution, which helped you?
What do you mean by rebuilt the path to the database?
Thanks
