Good afternoon everyone.
I have a query and it is what is the most convenient method when designing a 3D panel using OpenUtilities Substation or Promis.e. Using a panel layout mode as a base, I can't find a way to place, for example, cable ducts linearly in 3D, analogous to the DIN rail insert function, which works very well. Placement can be done using the panduit wire containment function, but in 2D. I need recommendations, thanks!
Hello Damian,To Design 3D Panel is same in Promis.e CE and OpenUtilities Substation. Substation software is used for Designing Physical and Control Circuit for Substation. Hence if you are requirement Designing Substation then you can use Substation, else you can use Promis.e CE. For placing Cable ducts, you can create a 3D Symbol for Duct and then place it Panel Layout page. Let me know if the above suggestion answer your questions. Thanks & RegardsSatish Saptasagar
Hi Satish, I appreciate the answer. Yes, but could I then place variable ducts? linearly or repetitively in panel layout mode? I'm asking because I haven't been able to do it so far.And in the event that it can be achieved, could the link be maintained with the panduit tool for the wire path? That is, place the wire path and the conduit in 3d and that both are linked?
Hi Damian,
You can create a 3D Symbol for the Panel Layout mode and then Create a Part Number for Duct with Linear Part Type. Then you can use the Part Number for placing the duct.
You also can place the Panduit Parts like Ducts and other accessories while placing the Panduit Path.
Hope this HelpsThanks & RegardsSatish Saptasagar
Thanks Satish,
I do it and I tell you,
Best regards
