Hello everyone. There are certain symbols in the catalogs that cannot be removed, and I resort to using the replace tool to select another symbol and only then can I remove it, is this a common mistake? Do I have to do something to prevent it from happening?
Hi Damian, Are you trying to delete the symbols using the Windows File explorer to delete the DGN or you are facing this issue when deleting using the Catalog Manager? If you are not using Please try using the Catalog Manager and let me know if you are still facing the issue. Thanks & Regards Satish Saptasagar
Satish, thank you very much. I speak when we are in the 3D design model. When wanting to remove it from where it is placed, it is not removed. It is not an element of a reference file. Simply the symbol is not removed.
Damian, Can you check if the level on which the symbol is placed is locked or not? You can check the level of the 3D Symbol by using the Properties and then checking the level of the cell / shared cell as in the below image. The check in the level manager if the level is locked, if Yes then unlock the level. Hope this HelpsThanks & Regards Satish Saptasagar
