      Product(s): Promis.e, Bentley Substation
      Version(s): through 08.11.12.137
      Environment: N/A
      Area: OS Support
      Subarea: N/A

    Error or Warning Message

     The error "Not a valid Win32 File Time", can come up while starting-up or creating the new pages/projects. The error message can be read as:

    Internal Error
    Error Message: Not a valid Win32 FileTime.
    Target site: Int64 ToFileTimeUtc()
    Declaring Type: System.DateTime
    Attributes: public
    Member Type: Method

    Explanation

    Promis.e/Bentley Substation interacts with databases and creates a unique timestamp, So the Server Default Date Format and Default Language needs to match with the system Date format and time zone language.

    This error occurs when the mismatch occurs between the above two settings.

    How to Avoid/Solution

    In order for two settings to match, change the Windows date and time settings as shown below and restart Promis.e/Bentley Substation
