When a terminal strip is selected in Terminal/Pin-Plug Manager, the following message is displayed:
Engineering Design ConsiderationYou have some invalid terminal connections.If you choose to continue the output may not be accurate.Run the Engineering Design check for "invalid terminal connections" to locate and corect these problems.
This message indicates a problem related to connections to jumper connection points on terminals in the project. Jumper connection points typically have "J" connection point text. Jumper connection points on terminal symbols should only be connected to other jumper connection points on terminals in the same terminal strip.
Use the "Invalid Terminal Connection" check on the Engineering Design Considerations (EDC) tool to identify the incorrectly connected terminal block(s). When a terminal block is incorrectly connected to another terminal block, a row for each appears in the results of the "Invalid Terminal Connections" EDC check.
Double-click a row in the EDC results to navigate to the problem on the schematic page.One or more of the following conditions need to be corrected:
